Ok, ok, ok. Obviously ALL the cool kids aren’t moving to Fircrest. I mean, I’M STILL in Tacoma– and so is most everyone else! But since SOME very cool peeps in my friendship circle have moved over to Fircrest where my dear friend and colleague Realtor Anne Jones resides- I thought it was best that we sit down and have a conversation about it. Anne and her husband grew up in Gig Harbor. She’s also lived in the UPS Area and Central Tacoma.

anne jones profileFircrest is across the street from Tacoma (across South 19th to be exact) and is surrounded by Tacoma on 3 sides. In spite of this very very close relationship, they are their own city of 6,000 people.

“It is a very walkable community,” says Anne Jones. “It’s totally centered around the community center downtown… if you ask me what the draw is to Fircrest: you get a little bit of that small town feel but you’re not so far from everything.”
